Dr. Eric N. Brown (SEM President, 2021 – 2022) presents the 2022 Springer/Nature Publishing Young Investigator Award to Dr. Sarah A. Bentil on June 13, 2022 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Dr. Bentil received the 2022 Springer/Nature Publishing Young Investigator Lecture Award from the Society for Experimental Mechanics (SEM), during the annual conference.
This prestigious award recognizes a member of SEM that is in their early to mid-career (generally 5 to 10 years after degree receipt) whose work demonstrates considerable potential in the field of Experimental Mechanics. Dr. Bentil’s selection is a public statement by her professional peers of the quality and impact of the contributions that she has made thus far in her career.
