Abstract
High-accuracy and high-speed structured light methods have been widely applied in various fields such as healthcare, manufacturing, entertainment, etc. Though these applications are successful, there are still several challenges to the method which affect its robustness, such as shadows, saturation, and geometrical disagreements when used with other metrology methods. The research works presented in this talk focus on tackling these three challenges and will significantly improve the robustness of the structured light method, and potentially expand its range of usage, especially for in-situ applications.
