Iowa State’s ME department cited in U.S. News article

 

Ames, Iowa—The mechanical engineering field is a discipline on the move, according to a recent article (“Mechanical Engineering Is on the Rise”) in U.S. News and World Report. “ME today is at the heart of many cutting-edge technologies,” the article states. Iowa State ME Professor Robert C. Brown, as a resource for the article, notes that, “Mechanical engineers are not only experts in thermodynamics—the study and uses of energy—they know how to apply its laws to bring machines to life.”
